Space City Institute of Houston, Inc. [ SCIH ] – is a 501c3 organization that provides Music Business Education through the medium of Music and Mentorship of young people, while bringing functional lifeskill awareness to the art of visual communication. SCIH is committed to offer programs, training and activities to youth ages 9-18, parents, community organizations and businesses with an interest to develop careers, build self-esteem, team build, and develop confident leadership skills. These initiatives will foster an open exchange of sound information and implementation of positive practices through seminars and training to reduce negative exposure and dialogue; as well as build strong individuals and companies. Our forums are designed to use music and media initiatives as a backdrop to these core programs: Youth Mentorship, Peer Pressure, Truancy, Abstinence and Tobacco, Drug and Alcohol Prevention; as well as, Etiquette Development in Music and Media. In addition, SCIH offers workshops and training in Capacity Building, Technical Assistance, Career Development, Leadership Development, Non-Profit Management, Entertainment Management, Public Relations, Creative Journalism, Visual Presentations, Marketing Technology and Internships.

This High Tech facility will feature all the lastest technology in the music industry and offer classes and programs that is guaranteed to prepare you as the next up and coming music legend. At MBTC you will learn the music business, enhance your performance skills, and receive hands on training while developing valuable lifeskills to increase longevity in every areas of the music industry. SCIH also features a diverse and unique youth connection program known as YOUTH MINISTRY PROJECT [YMP]. YMP is designed to reach youth through faith-based initiatives and provide an exciting array of activities geared toward the success of young Americans.
In addition,SCIH is an established partnership organization through its ORGANIZATION COLLABORATION Systems [O.C.S.] program.In the O.C.S. program SCIH offers itself as a grassroot hub to assist and educate community and faith-based organizations that are getting started or simply may need some big brother support as they are growing. We also collaborate to provide Administration Guidance, Leadership Training and Music Administration. As a 501c3 organization, we will provide the support you need while you are in preparation to stand on your own.
